The Nam Kee dining house at Zeedijk opened its doors in 1981. It's commonly known as the "Chinese dining house with the white tiles covered walls". The simplicity can also be found in our dishes, which are simple, yet delicious. The dining house at Zeedijk offers about 70 seats.

In 1992, Nam Kee opened a second restaurant at Geldersekade in Amsterdam, opposite to the Waag on the Nieuwmarkt. This restaurant offers seats to larger groups. The big round rotating tables with seats for ten are still often used to accommodate big Chinese families to enjoy the original quality of Cantonese cuisine. The restaurant at Geldersekade offers 80 seats.

Both the dining house and the restaurant are opened 7 days a week. At both establishments, takeaway is available as well. Also, a wide variety of catering possibilities are available.
