Nam Kee is an icon when it comes to Chinese food in Amsterdam. Nam Kee consists of two establishments in Amsterdam owned by the family Chan: the dining house at Zeedijk and the restaurant at Geldersekade.


The two generations of the family have been maintaining the quality of the authentic Cantonese cuisine and their family recipes since 1981. Well-known dishes such as Wan Tan, Sui Kau or Bean curd wit mixed meat are still popular. The famous Oysters at Nam Kee as well as our grilled products such as Peking Duck and Tja Siew (roasted pork), are still completely prepared in our own kitchen according to original recipes.
